Recessive Drug Therapy

In orthopedic surgery, recessive drug therapy is a very important element that completes the treatment in the healing process.

My Approach
We can divide the Recessive Drug Treatments into five.
1. Anti-Inflammatory Treatment

Surgical incisions or skeletal injuries heal with a tissue reaction called inflammation. Pain is a perception caused by inflammation.

We stop the pain and the undesirable effects of inflammation with anti-inflammatory drugs. Steroids are the strongest known anti-inflammatory.

We do not use steroids unless absolutely necessary. The most commonly used group of drugs are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAI).

2. Antibiotics

We administer prophylactic antibiotic therapy before surgery or for therapeutic purposes due to infection.

3. Antiembolic Therapy

During orthopedic treatments, preventive antiembolic treatments, that is, blood thinners, are frequently used due to the effect of immobility and limb circulation. When embolism occurs, treatment is carried out under hospital conditions with the physicians of the relevant branch.

4. Supportive Treatments

Oral intake of elements such as protein, collagen and matrix structure needed by the musculoskeletal system is provided. Glucosaminoglycans, collagens are recommended orally. Completes treatments.

5. Preventive Treatments

It is the support treatment package we recommend before injury to prevent skeletal injury or wear on the cartilage of the person.
